I'm Karen and I offer small and friendly Matwork Pilates classes in Downley, High Wycombe and Brunel University, Uxbridge. My classes are suitable for all levels of fitness as I guide you through each move giving adaptions for both easier and more challenging variations.
Classes are based on the traditional exercises developed by Joseph Pilates with a modern, clinical approach incorporating functional moves to gain strength, flexibility, movement and alignment.
Focusing on the 6 main principles of Pilates: breathing, concentration, centering, precision, control and flow. Pilates can help improve muscle and joint strength, flexibility, gain better co-ordination and balance and improve posture.

PILATES
Following the basic matwork exercises of Joseph Pilates, classes are designed for a mixed range of abilities. If you are new to pilates the beginners class is a great way to get started. Please bring your own mat to class, other small equipment is provided by me but if you have your own please bring it along.
Classes in Downley are run as a 6 week block payable before commencement.
AEROBICS
I have been running this aerobics class for 18 years now and still look forward to it each week. The class is aimed at a mixed range of ages over 50 and incorporates exercises and choreographed fitness and dance routines to music. Membership to the group is through Brunel University Sports Centre.
